Sòdé Bridal – FAQ
Every bride is unique, and so are our dresses. At Sòdé Bridal, we carefully curate and design gowns that are timeless, elegant, and made to celebrate your individuality. Our collection features a range of silhouettes, fabrics, and details — from modern minimalism to luxury elegance. All our styles can also be customised so you can make the gown truly yours.
What makes our 60-minute consultation especially unique is that it’s led by our Creative Director, who brings over 20 years of expert fitting experience. You’ll be in safe hands as we guide you towards a gown that feels as perfect as it looks.
We work by appointments only to give you a private, relaxed, and memorable experience. Bridal appointments last for 60 minutes, allowing you time to explore different styles and find what makes you feel incredible. You’re welcome to bring 2–3 guests — people whose opinions you truly value. We encourage you to come with an open mind; sometimes the dress you least expect turns out to be the one!
To confirm your order, full payment is required on placing the order. Alternatively we can arrange a flexible payment method. Please speak with one of our stylist at your appointment.
We ship both within the UK and internationally. Shipping fees vary depending on your location and will be confirmed before dispatch. All gowns are carefully packaged to ensure they arrive safely. For international brides, we recommend factoring in customs or duty charges where applicable.
As all our gowns are made to order, we’re unable to accept returns. We encourage you to feel completely confident in your choice before confirming your order, and we’re here every step of the way to guide and support you in making the decision that feels just right for you.

Most of our gowns are made to order. Once you’ve chosen your dream style, we’ll take precise measurements and match you to the closest size on our standard size chart before your gown is created by our expert production team. Because each dress is made especially for you, our gowns are not “off the rack” unless specifically noted. This thoughtful process ensures a more personal experience and a gown that feels truly yours. Please note that once production begins, made-to-order dresses are final sale and non refundable.
- Book an appointment with us (via our website, Instagram, or by phone/email).
- Try on our curated collection and find the gown that feels like you.
- Once you’ve chosen your dress, we’ll guide you through sizing, measurements, and any customisations.
- A full payment will secure your order, and production will begin.
- We’ll keep you updated until your dress arrives in our boutique for your fittings.
We recommend ordering your dress 9–12 months before your wedding. This allows enough time for it to be made, shipped, and altered.
• If your wedding is sooner, don’t worry — rush orders or ready-to-wear options may be available.
• Once your gown arrives, we’ll contact you to schedule fittings. Most brides need 2–3 fittings for the perfect fit.
At Sòdé, alterations are complimentary and included as part of your luxury bridal experience. Every gown is perfected in-house by our designer, who brings over 20 years of expertise in luxury garment construction and tailoring. This means your dress is handled with the highest level of skill, care, and consistency — ensuring a flawless fit. From the first pin to the final stitch, you’ll be looked after every step of the way, with the reassurance that your gown is in expert hands. It’s our way of making sure you feel nothing short of amazing when you walk down the aisle.
We know choosing the one is a big decision, which is why we encourage you to take your time, try different styles, and ask as many questions as you need during your appointment. Once your order has been placed, cancellations and refunds aren’t possible, but if production hasn’t yet begun, we may be able to adjust the style for you. To avoid any worry later on, we always recommend confirming your gown only when you feel completely sure it’s the dress that makes you feel your best.
Accurate measurements are key to ordering the correct size. We recommend professional measurements, but here are the key ones we’ll need:
- Bust: Around the fullest part of your chest
- Waist: The smallest part of your torso
- Hips: Around the widest part of your hips and bottom
- Hollow to Hem: From the base of your throat to the floor (important for dress length)
- Height & Heel Height: So we can account for your wedding shoes
If you’re unsure, don’t worry — we’ll guide you during your appointment or send you our measuring guide if you’re ordering remotely.
